equestrian trails. The stream descends nearly 2,000


feet through layers of sandstone, lime- stone and chert. Its many bluffs are the highest in the Ozark Mountains. This area is home to springs, caves, water- falls, natural bridges, and box-like can- yons where trails are abundant. A waterfall/hike that can easily be


accessed from the Buffalo is Twin Fall Trails which is classified as easy. Take the hike after a heavy rain where you can see Twin Falls, which actually has three waterfalls.This is a short, level hike. The trailhead is located next to Camp Orr and is marked by by a wood- en arrow with “Twin Falls” inscribed on it. are numerous outfitters in the area, and there are several campgrounds, cabins, motels and other lodging options near- by.
