A sculptural freestanding tub installed on a textured pebble floor adds a dramatic focal point to this small spa like master bathroom and contrast with the clean lines of the neutral large format tiles used throughout the space. The luxurious separate shower echoes the contrast of textural elements with the clean lines of the tile with the vertical pebble shower band that showcases the shower fixtures.

By simultaneously reworking the laundry and the guest bath, we increased the size of both rooms by eliminating a door to the back yard. Stacking the washer/dryer created space for a recycle center and a folding counter. The dangerous closet on the stairs was eliminated and larger floor to ceiling storage was created in a cabinet. Under-used garage storage was converted to interior temperature/humidity controlled wine storage.
