CHAMBER NEWS New appointments at the Chamber

Lesley Shorrocks joined Devon Chamber as Deputy Chief Executive at the beginning of November, in a part time- role, three days a week. Lesley ran her own marketing and

advertising agency in Plymouth for 25 years until early 2017, after enjoying a career in arts and entertainment marketing prior to that. Lesley was Plymouth’s Chair of Federation of Small Businesses for five years until 2016 and was very active championing SME challenges and opportunities in a voluntary capacity. She has also enjoyed two stints on the Chamber Board. Lesley said: ‘My remit is to assist the Chamber team as it restructures and further develops its services and robust offer for its members, particularly focusing on communications, events and marketing.I am going to be drawing on my own business experience to ensure everything we do for our members not only helps them, but also strengthens Devon’s regional voice at national level.’
