A Bristol-based product design firm has tripled its capacity after moving to larger premises with the support of a £1.35m loan from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking. Crux Product Design Ltd,


established in 2003, provide consultancy services to design, engineer and develop intricate devices used in medical drug delivery, such as injectors and asthma inhalers, as well as consumer products including deodorants, razors and connected smart devices, such as fitness trackers. The firm also design sporting


goods items and were commissioned to develop the helmets worn by the British track cycling team at the London 2012 and 2016 Rio Olympic Games.


Following an increase in demand


for its innovative and technical skills, the firm purchased a property on the Paintworks site in Bristol, where it was previously renting. The new office is over three times larger than its previous premises and, with the added capacity, Crux plans to more than double its headcount within the next five years.
