LIVE24SEVEN // Education Wyeside Day Nursery
Wyeside Day Nursery and Out Of School Wraparound care provides complete childcare for children aged three months to eleven years through their outstanding day nursery and out of school provisions.
They are open from 7am to 6pm, five days a week for 51 weeks of the year, including Bank Holidays. Wyeside are situated right on the banks of the River Wye which provides an excellent backdrop to their extensive natural play areas.
The forest school is led by two qualified Forest School leaders. The children are given a unique educational experience that offers children the opportunity to succeed and develop confidence and self esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a type of woodland environment. Children engage in motivating and achievable tasks and activities throughout the year and in almost all weathers. Children will work with tools, play, learn boundaries of behavior, both physical and social, grow in confidence, self-esteem and motivation whilst developing an understanding of the natural world.
