Welcome to 2018, and to the January/ February issue. It’s been an adventurous twelve months with many changes. We hope you like the changes we’ve made, and welcome any ideas our readers may have.
We enjoyed avisit to Olympia, once again boasting great show jumping and entertainment. The finale was spectacular. This show never fails to bring agreat start to the Christmas holidays.
We were saddened to hear of the fire at the Liverpool International Horse Show, resulting in the final performance being cancelled. Nina Barbour and her team have worked tremendously hard to make the show the huge success it is, and promise it will return next December.
In this issue, we have afantastic article written by Jo Monck on her recent visit to aHorse Fair in Portugal. We also have articles on Farriery, Winter Issues and Careers.
With over 1000 dates, our 2018 Show Guide (Part 1) gives plenty of scope for planning your diary for the coming season.
