Peckham Levels, a new creative and cultural space for South London is now open having transformed the unused inner levels of Peckham’s famous multi- storey carpark. The top two floors are open to the public, seven days a week as a cultural destination where visitors can discover and interact with some of South London’s most exciting creators across food, drink, wellbeing and events. Members here include Otherside Fried, WEST, Nandine, Pickywops, Lords of Poké, LEVELSIX Yoga and Wellness centre, Cahoona’s Hair Hub with Ghost Notes, Drum & Flats and WILDFLOWER this weekend.


Peckham Levels’ upper two levels are free and open public spaces, ready to be used by anyone and everyone from morning right through until evening. WEST and WILDFLOWER are open from 8am Monday to Saturday and 10am on Sunday, perfect for grabbing your morning coffee, working remotely or lunching with friends and colleagues. Here is a taste of the members across these levels...


FOOD


Seven South London food traders reside in the upper floors of Peckham Levels, all serving a delicious array of cuisines from across the world. With plenty on offer for vegans and vegetarians, vegan pizza specialists Pickywops offer an array of ancient wheat and health-conscious bases, whilst proving pizza doesn’t need cheese to be tasty. WILDFLOWER, an all-day vegan and vegetarian canteen from the team behind Parched London, will offer an evolving menu of affordable breakfast and lunch items, along with space for community events and venue hire.


Chicken-lovers won’t be disappointed with Otherside Fried serving up their famous fried chicken burgers and fries, while Drums & Flats will share their passion and talent for chicken

Further street food is on offer from Canard, who master flavours from across the channel with mouth-watering French street food all revolved around shredded duck; Camberwell’s-own Kurdish Nandine, with their delectable mezzés and baklava; Lords of Poké who serve fresh cut, Hawaiian poké bowls; and Hao Hao Chi who make homemade Chinese street food and much-loved handmade dumplings.


EVENTS At night, WILDFLOWER will transform into Ghost Notes - a mid-sized live music venue and events space hosting a changing programme of live music and DJs. The space will champion south London’s thriving music community and offer a platform for local promoters and upcoming artists. It will also be available to other Peckham Levels members and local organisations to host events.


PECKHAM LEVELS LOWER FLOORS The rest of Peckham Levels, spanning the lower five levels, is now home to over 70 talented and creative members, 75% from Peckham. These include musicians, composers, writers, illustrators and more across the 53 affordable studio spaces. In January, ‘The Ramp’ Peckham Levels’ co-working space will open for local start-ups and entrepreneurs.


DRINK


Near and Far, from the team behind The Magic Roundabout, bring sparkling cocktails, palm trees and glitter balls to Peckham Levels. Lady Godiva boasts a solid selection of craft beers alongside small-batch spirits and WEST, a natural wine bar & conscious kitchen, offer Californian-inspired small plates and wines, while offering an all-day, laid back space to work and hang out with friends and colleagues.


WELLBEING & LIFESTYLE LEVELSIX, Peckham’s newest Yoga and Wellness space host a varied timetable of yoga and movement classes, seven days a week across two studios. As well as daily classes and special workshops, the space will provide a compact nourishing menu of juices and snacks made with organic and seasonal produce for those attending classes. Renowned hair stylist Tracy Cahoon has launch Cahoona’s Hair Hub, accompanied by a
