Modern day living focuses strongly on
the communal areas of the home, such as the kitchen or lounge, where family and
friends gather at the end of the day to eat, drink and relax, so, over the next few issues, we’ll be looking at various kitchen fashions. In recent years, there has been a shift
from fussy detailing in kitchens to a more modern, ‘clean’ look, so we’ll be looking at what on-trend kitchens have to offer in the way of dining and entertaining. We’ll also be looking at the ‘appliance
of science’, checking out the latest labour – and time-saving – appliances that are on the market, and guiding you in the right direction! Bedrooms won’t be forgotten in this
section either! When you consider that we spend around half our lives in our bedrooms, you realise that this room requires as much care and consideration as the ‘living areas’. Whether you opt for minimalist, clutter-free chic, an elegant ‘boudoir’ look, or a rich and warming style, there are endless options from which you can choose to ensure that your bedroom is the perfect habitat for relaxing. Home entertainment is another sector
which has witnessed major growth over the last few years. Until recently, the best way to watch a movie was go to a cinema, but advances in technology have given people more choices for home theatre set-up. From a wall-mounted flat screen TV to a dedicated home cinema, we’ll look at it all! So, welcome to Your Home... just pour
