The good news is that we’ve unpicked reams of guidance, and had numerous discussions with the experts at the Fundraising Regulator to distil all the information you need into just four pages. The less good news is that you will undoubtedly need to look at how you capture and store supporters’
details and review which channels you use to communicate with them. On a less serious note, we have some fabulous testimonials for you this
teacher, get me out of here’ event, with teachers taking part in messy with their mouths! See what else teachers have subjected themselves to in the name of fundraising in our How Game is Your Head? feature on page 40. Other gems (that I know sound so intriguing you won’t be able to help but
want to read about them) include a historical photography evening (p7), a roast dinner Easter hunt and a virtual pet show (p34). Is it too early to mention summer fairs? A thread on our PTA+ Facebook
page revealed that the World Cup is topping the list for potential themes, so with that in mind we’ve come up with a few Russia-themed stall ideas, including a black bear teddy tombola, a Sputnik-making craft stall and a Russian doll stacking challenge.
