Amazon specifically donates to charities that help children and young people succeed in a digital world. Monetary donations of up to £1,000 are available for charitable causes in the communities in which it operates, and can be applied for via an online form. Find out more at

The ‘Chosen by you… given by us’ programme provides local funding for specific causes. Three charities are nominated per month, and customers use tokens to vote for who receives the biggest donation. Community Champions at each store can volunteer their time locally, which includes working with teachers to promote healthy eating and an active lifestyle with

Go Ape This year, Go Ape has pledged to give away £35,000-worth of vouchers to charitable organisations to be used in auctions and raffles. Apply online at

Marks & Spencer As part of the ‘In Touch with your Community’ framework, M&S stores are able to make product donations of up to £50 to local charities, including PTAs. The ‘Spark Something Good’ initiative aims to inspire employees to donate time to their local communities. Contact your local branch for details.
