MANAGING YOUR PTA – Support from business
WARBURTONS RUNS THE NATIONAL SCHOOL VISITOR PROGRAMME – SEE OVERLEAF FOR DETAILS
Business support
In need of raffle prizes, volunteers or a financial boost? Support is easy to find, if you know where to look – and we do!
N
umerous companies operate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) schemes whereby they
contribute to the local communities in which they operate. The aid available can be split into three categories: product donations, volunteering and funding. So whether you’re in need of a prize hamper for your to paint classrooms or plant the school allotment, we’ve compiled a list of philanthropic businesses that offer support to schools.
Hints and tips
Schemes may be subject to specific requirements and can operate differently throughout the country, so check that you qualify
before you invest time in applying. Bear in mind that many of these schemes are offered on a branch- by-branch basis, and may be down
to the manager’s discretion. Remember that companies are often inundated with pleas for support, so not all requests can
be fulfilled. We’ve heard plenty of success stories from our PTA+ community though, so it is always
worth applying! Don’t see the support you were after listed here? That doesn’t mean it’s not on offer. If you don’t ask you don’t get! And if you’ve worked with a company and know of schemes that we’ve missed, please let us know! You can email the team at
