Dec. 1 Santa Claus is coming to town and he’ll be waving to the crowds during the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade through downtown. Come see beautiful floats illuminated with lights at this annual event. The fun kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with the ceremonial 46th Myrtle Wood Chamberlain Christmas Tree Lighting Cere- mony on the courthouse square. There is a countdown for the tree and courthouse lighting, then the Brass ensemble from Mountain Home High School will perform, said Angela Broome, executive vice presi- dent of Mountain Home Chamber of Com- merce.
