The Ozark Holidays Craft Show is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 23-24, at Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View. This mega craft show features resident crafts people from the center and visiting craftsmen from around the region.


If you come on Thanksgiving Day, you can enjoy an award-winning buffet at the Skillet restaurant.

director at the Ozark Folk Center State Park.


Skillet is open 8 a.m.to 7 p.m., but the buf- fet is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost: $16.95 per person; $8.95 for children 9 and younger. CNN rated the Thanksgiving buffet as one of the Top 7 Thanksgiving restaurant op- tions in the country.


As for the craft show, it’s a great place to snag a unique Christmas gift.


“We have everything from resident potters, stained glass, handmade knives, homemade Santas and snowmen, jewelry, a variety of Christmas ornaments including some hand carved from wooden spools, carved toys, handmade soap, candles,” she said.
