LOCAL AUTHORITIES ELECTION ACT(SECTION 77.1 & 79) HOME BOUND ELECTORS SPECIAL BALLOT PACKAGE REQUEST


If you are an elector with disabilities or a physical incapacity and are unable to attend the Advance Poll or Voting Station in your area, you may make arrangements for a mobile Voting Station to come to your residence during the hours of 10:00 am and 7:30 pm on Election Day, Monday, October 16, 2017.


Alternatively, electors who are unable to vote in the Municipal Election between October 7 and 16 due to: physical incapacity, absence from the jurisdiction, or working as an election offi cer, are eligible to receive a Special Ballot (mail-in) package.


Requests for these services must be made/received before noon, Friday, October 13, 2017 by contacting Keith Friesen, Election Coordinator, 403.529.8382.


In the case of Special Ballots, it is the electors’ responsibility to complete the ballot package and return it by mail or in-person by 4:30 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2017.
