Claytons put health first at Nature’s Way Café

Juliana Goodwin For Living Well

N DEAN CURTIS FOR LIVING WELL Nature’s Way Cafe offers a healthy menu. A hamburger is served with a side of fruit. 8 Living Well i September/October 2017

ature’s Way Café blends the old and new, with mod- ern cuisine in an historic building.

The space dates back to 1890

and is the oldest structure on the square. The owners have restored it probably well past its original glory and kept the intricate tin ceilings and hard- wood floors. Large historic black and white photos of the building line the wall. The cafe is inviting, casual and intimate. But don’t expect old-school

cooking here, the menu is in- novative and boasts gluten-free and dairy-free options, organic produce, grass-fed beef, vegan dishes and other natural foods.
