Jimmy Anderson Horsemanship Returns To Barrie in September

With his training background in so many different areas of horsemanship, he was ex- cited when invited to par- ticipate in his first Calgary Stampede Cowboy Up Challenge in 2011 where he was awarded Reserve Championship. In 2012, Jim returned to win the Championship and then carried on to win the Pro Final in the World Champi- onship at the 2012 Extreme Cowboy Association World Championships in Hamil- ton, Texas in November. Once again in 2013 and 2016, Jim won the Cowboy Challenge at the Calgary Stampede! Jim has numerous


and credentials as horse- man and trainer, Jim is equally known from his calm, quiet, cheerful nature and his innate ability to communicate knowledge, even to the newest aspiring horse person. Jim’s clinics are always filled and every- one leaves smiling – eager to put their new skills into effect – and looking for- ward to the next “Jim” clinic. His grin, that twin- kle in his eyes, and his two favourite words “Just Right!”, are some of the finest praise any of us can receive when developing our own horsemanship skills. Jim’s equally talented wife, love, business partner and fellow horse trainer, An- drea, is a core part of run- ning the Jimmy Anderson Horsemanship organiza- tion. She manages events, clinics and participates in competitions. Fans will be happy to hear Andrea is giving a LIBERTY clinic at Drury Horse Park in Barrie August 25 to 27 with a few

In 2000, Jim spent time in Eu- rope, taking titles such as Italian Reining Derby Champion and the Euro- pean Cow Horse Futurity and Derby Champi- onships. In 2014, he was the first ever Road to the Horse Wild Card Cham- pion, Fan Favourite… and 2014 Colt Starting World Champion! Regardless of titles
