FromMichigan, he began dancing at the age of 5 and continued throughmoves that led toDallas.He has trained atKJDance in Plano, Texaswhere he is amem- ber of their Senior PulseCompany.Hewill attend the Juilliard SummerDance Intensive inNew YorkCity.


SydneyWinston SouthDallasDance Festival Scholarship


SydneyWinston is a junior at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Agraduate ofBooker T.WashingtonHigh School for the Performing andVisualArts, she is also an alumni ofDallasBlackDance Theatre. This summer she will be attendingHubbard StreetDanceChicago.


JulianaYu Kittie LaPointeMemorial Scholarship


Juliana Yu is 16 years old and studies at Plano West SeniorHigh. She has trained at theBallet Academy of Texas for 13 years and has danced in theBalletEnsemble of Texas for 5. She used her scholarship to attend PacificNorthwestBallet's summer intensive in Seattle.
