Sydney James TexieWatermanMemorial Scholarship
Sydney James just finished her junior year at FusionAcademy inAustin, Texas. She’s 17 years old and has trained at theDance Institute PerformanceAcademy since shewas 9 years old. She’s beyond grateful to have received the Texie WatermanMemorial Scholarship and looks for- ward to attending theAlonzoKing LinesBallet Intensive in San Francisco this summer.
HeidiLoubser GlendaBrown Choreography Project Scholarship
Heidi Loubser is 18 years old and just completed her freshman year at community college. She has trained extensively in ballet and recently began exploring other styles aswell as the choreographic process.With her scholarship, shewill attend the GlendaBrownChoreography Project inKansas City at the end of July.
KaidenMaines DeniseGallagherMemorial Scholarship
KaidenMaines is a sophomoreBFAActingmajor atOklahomaCityUniversity. Shewent to WaxahachieHigh schoolwhere shewas involved in theatre for 4 years. Throughout high school she was awardedwith various awards such as 2015 UIL 5AStateBestActress and the 2016Dallas SummerMusicalHigh SchoolMusical Theatre Award forBest LeadingActress in aMusical.
LaylaMaynard GlendaBrown Choreography Project Scholarship
LaylaMaynard is 18 years old and graduated from Booker T.WashingtonHSPVAin Junewhere Layla spent three years performingwithRepertory DanceCompany 2. This summer, Laylawill attend theGlendaBrownChoreography Project as a cho- reographer. In the fall, theywill be attending San FranciscoConservatory ofDance.

AddieMendolia is 13 years old and just finished 8th grade as an online school student. She has danced on theNext StepDance PerformingArts Center performing company for three years and is amember ofRhythmic Souls Youth TapCompany. With her scholarship,Addiewill attend LittleRock Tap Festival.

MiaMurphy is 14 years old andwill be a fresh- man atBooker TWashingtonHSPVA. She has trained for 12 years under the direction ofMalana Murphy and is a student atNext StepDance in Friscowhere she is on their performing company team. With her scholarship,Miawill be attending theChicagoHumanRhythmProject.

TaylorNaturkas GloriaWhetsoneMemorial Scholarship
TaylorNaturkas is 14 and danceswith the Crooked TreeArtsCenter School ofBallet. She has been performingwith themfor almost 11 years and loves it. This summer shewill be attending theCharlotteBallet’s summer intensive for five weekswith her scholarship. Taylor is looking for- ward to an amazing summer atCharlotte.
