EmmaPennell NathalieKrassovskaMemorialBallet Scholarship


Emma Pennell is 17 years old and attendsAllen High School. She has trained at theAllen Conservatory ofDance for 14 years, and also performswith theAllenCivicBallet. The scholarship helps funds her attendance at KansasCityBallet’s Summer Intensive Program.


GeomayBriShanSanders NitaBraunMemorialTap Scholarship


GeornayBriShan Sanders is 18 years old and a 2017 graduate of FortWorthAcademy of Fine Arts School in FortWorth, Texaswhere shewas a member of theAcademyDanceCompany and AdvancedMusical Theater.As aDancemajor and aKinesiologyminor,Geornaywill attend Sam Houston StateUniversity in fall. She attended the LittleRock Tap Festivalwith herDCNT scholar- ship. Thank youDCNT!

Mikaela Seale is 16 years and attendsHebron High School. She has studied at theBallet Conservatory for 11 years and is amember of LakeCitiesBallet Theatre. Shewill be using her scholarship to attendBalletWest.


CarolinePierce Joyce SeaborneBader Scholarship


Caroline Pierce is 13 years old and attendsCurtis Middle School inAllen. She began dancingwith TheDanceMovementwhen shewas three and joined their competitive dance teamwhen she was eight.Caroline used her scholarship to attend TexasBallet Theater's senior summer intensive on theDallas campus.


EricaRaver TexasBalletTheater Scholarship


EricaRaver is 19 years old and graduated Lassiter High School in 2016.Hermost recent training has beenwith Fiona Fairrie for a total of 4 years. Previously she attended theGeorgiaBallet as a student.With her scholarship, shewill be attend- ing TexasBallet Theater’s summer intensive of 2017.


EvelynRobinson Amanda StoneBallet Scholarship


EvelynRobinson is a 15 year old aspiring dancer. She has trained at Tyler JuniorCollegeAcademy ofDance andwill be attending theUniversity of NorthCarolina School of theArts high school pro- gramfor the school year.With the very generous Amanda Stone scholarship, shewill attendAlonzo King LinesBallet summer program.

Kirsten Smerud, 14 years old, attendsBooker T WashingtonHigh School for theVisual and PerformingArts.Kirsten started training in ballet at the age of 3. She is passionate about ballet and would love to dance for a ballet companywhen she is older.With her scholarship she attended the AmericanBallet Theatre 5week summer inten- sive inNewYork.


Rajalaxmi Srikanth Arathi School ofDance Scholarship


Rajalaxmi (Sumi) Srikanth is a fourteen years old and has been studyingBharatanatyamdance since the age of four and a half.Under the guid- ance of herGuru, Shrimathi ShaliniVarghese Chandragiri, Sumi completed her "Arangetram." a solo dance recital, in 2016. Sumi is grateful and humbled by the study opportunity provided by ICHF culminating in a performance ofVirangana.

MaryMorgan Smith, fromDallas, Texas, is a sophomore atBooker T.WashingtonHSPVA where she is amember ofRepertoryDance Company II. She currently trains atDance Industry in Plano, Texas and is amember of Rhythmic Souls TapCompany.MaryMorgan used her scholarship to attend ThirdCoastRhythmTap Festival in SanAntonio, Texas.
