Moe Headrick proves daily that

he is a man of many talents. Lately he is directing a western film that is being shot in Texas. It’s a Yellow Rose Films piece currently titled “Legacy”. Head- rick is by trade a saddle maker operat- ing The Old West Saddle Shop #1 in his home in Weatherford where he often builds gear for reenactors and film makers. His life took a turn in 1984, when “The All American Cow- boy” was being shot in McKinney. Headrick supplied horses for the pro- duction, and one thing led to another. He soon joined the stuntman’s associ- ation, and for 20 years, he performed stunts or arranged special effects for “The Alamo”, “American Outlaws”, “Walker, Texas Ranger”, “Pure Coun- try”, “Texasville”, and more. He’s also appeared in commercials for compa- nies like Pace Picante and Chick Fil A, and in several videos, including Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive” and “Poncho and Lefty” by Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. He doesn’t rest on his laurels, either. He’s been barn man- ager for Weatherford College for the
