Auriol Kensington Rowing Club, Lower Mall, Hammersmith, London W6 hammersmithriverside.co.uk I hosted a party here. The venue is quite simple, but it has a lovely terrace on the river, which is great during good weather. Also, the catering company that works with the club offers delicious canapes.

I also went for some drinks parties at Vini Italiani, Old Brompton Road, South Kensington SW7 www.italianwines.com

The venue works well for a group of up to 40 people. The wines are of course excellent and they serve delicious platters of different types of salami, prosciutto and cheese!
