THE LORD MAYOR’S MUSIC

Yes yes Norwich, it’s time for Lord Mayors, a root de toot big up for how bloody fine our city is in all its guises.

If you’re knocking about on Saturday afternoon, trailing a limp balloon, feeling a bit green from the waltzers and needing to take a moment out to gather yourself, don’t miss out on catching some fresh new local acts who will be playing their hearts out for free, just for you.

Start the afternoon at the Norwich Arts Centre Stage outside The Forum, featuring some of the very best bands who have been supported by Sonic Youths, running from 1-3pm.

Then hit up Chapelfield Gardens where BBC Introducing in Norfolk take over the bandstand from 3-10pm with a massive variety of genres.

This is your chance to see a wealth of excellent Norwich music all in one go, and maybe see acts before they get famous.

I’ll have a hot dog and a Coke, thanks, and see you down the front.
