HUNDREDSof families flocked to Bearsted Green to enjoy all the fun of a traditional village fayre. The Magic of the Musicalswas the


theme of Bearsted and Thurnham Carnival, with a colourful parade of penguins, cats and characters from the Jungle Book helping to celebrate the event’s 38th anniversary. Led by the 2016 princess, Ella Lin-

more than last year, and our feed- back is that everyone enjoyed it.We had some new attractions such as the trampoline and bungee jumping and a number of the stalls sold out. “We hope the total raised will be as much as last year, maybe more.”
