SUMMER Dining
The Bell in Bearsted is ringing in the changes this summer with a new garden and range of food, drink and entertainment. The popular pub in Ware Street has revamped its huge garden and covered area and has introduced stone baked pizzas, including takeaways. Inside, the restaurant offers 32 covers set in a lovely home style environment. At lunchtime food is also served in the bar area as well as the restaurant. There is a fantastic selection of ales and ciders to compliment your food too.
The Black Horse Inn at Thurnham is an 18th Century free house inn with luxury accommodation and a restaurant in a wonderful rural setting tucked beneath the steep face of the North Downs on the Pilgrims Way.
The restaurant offers an extensive menu and the chefs pride themselves on using only the very
best local produce to give an exciting range of mouthwatering English and continental dishes. Also available are light lunches, a children’s menu and traditional Sunday Roasts. There are also a selection of daily specials which change regularly.
The Gem of Kent boasts itself as Maidstone’s only Turkish and Kurdish Restaurant. The popular restaurant offers outstanding dishes from both cultures created using the finest quality ingredients.
