for the other
than reading. Each month, I’m
lucky
if I get 10- 100
returns/ leſt -over
copies(and sometimes a few more if they are buried by other local papers, which happens of- ten) from over 1000 distribu- tion locations here in Sonoma County. But, when I do get the returns, I know they go to a good place for sure. One of them is Mel’s Fish & Chips on Hopper Ave in Santa Rosa. Each month we bring a box or more and they use
the paper
to keep the fi sh and chips very hot! T e other day, in my harried state, I leſt a few ‘New’ bundles

near the back tire of my car. I was going to put them in my trunk later in the morning for restock purposes. Of course I forgot about them. So, when it came time to leave for one of my many stops, I ‘attempted to back out of my driveway. My car didn’t go anywhere. I’m think- ing to myself, ‘What the heck is wrong with my reverse gear?’ T is had happened before, but at that time it was my transmis- sion from our older truck. Not this time. My car is only a 2015 model! I mean, I couldn’t budge the

realized the Upbeat Times made a move on me...under the back right tire. I had for- gotton I leſt the papers there. Now I know, in a jiff y, a bundle of Up- beat Times will keep your car from
rolling
backwards! We decided
to have a little fun because that’s what we are all about! Please do send us how you might use this
paper in some unusual way! It has taken several days to
write this column, mainly be- cause of there is a lot to focus on. Life is awesome! I keep thinking...how can it not be. Yes, around the world there is a fl urry of unstableness, but there is plenty of stableness too! I re- mind people to look around. Stop yourself for a minute and stop what you’re doing. Listen for a minute. Look around for a few seconds. Most might ob- serve, there is no chaos. People are busy running around do- ing what they’ve always done for millennia. T is is good news! Most of it is good if not downright peaceful! T ere are tough times where-ever we go, but what we do with them only strengthens us beyond mea- sure. I want to thank the continu-
