QF Focus Magazine Book Review by Ivor Kindle

Book Title: A short history of nearly everything Author: Bill Bryson Publisher: rbooks

Like most of the books I review this book was found in a Charity shop whilst I was on one of my searches. I knew the name of the author and thought OK let's give this book a read.

I am happy to say that I made a great choice... this book is one of the best books I have read. It is captivating and as the title suggests it really is a book that will open your eyes and enrich your knowledge of how we, as the human race, live our lives on

Planet Earth.

The book takes the reader on a journey of exploration ...how the cosmos was formed ...how the Earth evolved to enable life to flourish ...what comes next for planet Earth etc, etc.

This book has opened up another genre of reading for me ...it has also somehow given me back an appetite for knowledge. I advise you, Dear Reader, to seek out this wonderful book and enrich your knowledge and understanding of life ...science ...and the cosmos.

...keep reading Ivor Kindle.
