Brazell, of Haverfordwest, had been ‘involved in a collision’ with a parked car whilst on her way home. The owner of this parked car then witnessed Brazell get out of her car and look for damage, before driving off, it was heard. The owner subsequently called police and gave a description. Prosecuting, Mr Vaughan Pritchard-Jones said how when police later caught up with Brazell, ‘initially


she stated she had not been out’ in her car; however, she made a full admission in interview at a later stage. Defending, Mr Jonathan Webb


said how it had been ‘pitch black’, meaning Brazell had been unable to ‘see any damage’ when she got out of her vehicle. Mr Webb added that a driving disqualification ‘will have a huge impact on Ms Brazell’, namely as she was a mobile hair dresser. Brazell was fined £120 and


ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge. She was also disqualified from driving for 14 months.
