New distributors for Marinetek T


he presence of Marinetek on the Dutch and German markets has been further strengthened with


the appointment of two new distributors, JLD International BV in De Goorn, The Netherlands, and Ostseedienst GmbH in Kappeln, Germany. Both companies have extensive experience in marine construction and are well- established in their specific regions. JLD International is known for


its folding anchors, sheet piling and retention walls and has skilled

pedestals for Port Adriano


Over 200 berths are to be serviced by bespoke coloured versions of Rolec’s Quantum pedestals as part of a refurbishment project at Port Adriano’s Old Port in Mallorca. These units will add to the hundreds of berths already being serviced by Rolec pedestals as part of previous phased development over the last three years. The latest phase of pedestals


will provide 16 amp single-phase through to 63 amp three- phase supplies and also feature water taps, LED lighting and security locking brackets on the pedestal sockets.


Other features of the Quantum


pedestals include: compliance with European wiring regulations; IP65 category 1 weather-proof rating (BS EN 60529); flame-retardant to UL94 flame rating at V2; UV- stabilised; CE-certified; corrosion- resistant; and offering full utility segregation. Port Adriano is widely accepted


as a showcase marina, which features excellent facilities, including shops hosting a selection of top brands, restaurants for all tastes, a busy boatyard, an online booking system for moorings and a host of other services.

Managing Director Nils Jaich believes the tie-in with Marinetek is a perfect fit. “With Marinetek pontoons and marina engineering skills, we can offer an impressive product and services package for waterfront projects in Northern Germany,” he explained. “On the basis of our co-operation, several projects have been successfully completed, two of which (Böbs-Werft Marina in Travemünde and Olpenitz Marina in Kappeln) within 2016”.
