Coming in from the West Coast is a free stylin’ Hollywood hip hop artist who has become an icon in the commercial dance industry. Known for her street, underground club style, this female dancer/choreographer/teacher has worked with wildly-acclaimed pop stars from Janet Jackson to Miley Cyrus to Nick Jonas to upcoming stars like Sofia Carson. Early on in her career she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her contributing choreography in Janet Jackson’s HBO Broadcast, The Velvet Rope Tour: Live in Madison Square Garden. Among her latest accomplishments is her choreography in the box office sensations, Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL. In these successful, entertaining movies, she worked with fellow choreographers Alison Faulk and Luke Broadlick creating enticing and tantalizing dances for Channing Tatum and his crew of male dancers. Recently, she worked on the Lip Sync Holiday Special with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Lip Sync Season 2 opener with Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum on SPIKE TV.We are excited to bring back home this multitalented, fear- less, out-of-the-boxDallas native Teresa Espinosa.

Co-founders Linda James and Gayle Halperin exclaim, “Dance Planet 20 is going to be epic!” The public response to Chris Vo and Teresa Espinosa was electric when they first guested at Dance Planet. “We are bringing them back to celebrate Dance Planet 20 because they were among the most heralded artists guesting at the event and now they have even more to offer! As role models, their experiences are worth their weight in gold. We want to show them off as well as learn from them” says James.

Espinosa was an energetic, bold, outstanding guest artist for DP 16 in 2012. Vo was a high octane, exuberant, virtuosic guest artist for DP 17 in 2013. Both graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Upon graduation, Teresa got a scholar- ship to California School of the Arts and Chris to The Juilliard School. Both graduated with BFAs, went right to work, and have been working hard ever since. They pushed themselves, tackled new challenges, kept on learning, expanded their artistry and most importantly, have contin- ued to spread their love of dance.
