THE BUSINESS REPORT

‘Whatever the outstanding

capabilities of our aircraft, we never

forget that we are a people business in a people industry. We never stop learning and will always

be ready to share our expertise and knowledge.’

As you know, in 2004 we launched AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) when we ventured into the scheduled all-cargo market as we continued to build what we called our ‘cargo supermarket’ of service options for our customers. Our goal has always been to offer a diverse choice of services to ensure we can always provide the best possible solution to meet every customer requirement.

ABC has grown every single year. It very quickly became established as Russia’s largest international cargo airline and today it is one of the fastest-growing global cargo airlines working with leading customers in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. In the same way that we realised our project for Volga-Dnepr Airlines to modernise the iconic IL-76 freighter and safeguard its long-term future in the global market, we are also continuing to grow and modernise the AirBridgeCargo fleet. Most recently this saw the arrival of our sixth new generation Boeing 747-8 freighter, taking our total B747 fleet to 13 aircraft, and making it one of the youngest in the air cargo industry.

To Volga-Dnepr Airlines and AirBridgeCargo we have added ATRAN Airlines to provide regional express services using B737- 400Fs, and Volga Trucks to extend our delivery network in Russia. We have also invested in the opening of our own Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations, strategically located around the world to ensure the reliability of our own fleet as well as those of our airline customers. And, with the opening of our Engineering & Logistics Centre (ELC), we have increased our offering even further to include total end- to-end logistics and project management.

As we look back with pride at what we have achieved, our ambition is as strong as ever.

Our fleet of aircraft have so far landed safely 6

in over 1,900 airports in 190 countries worldwide. From the big and iconic An-124- 100 ‘Ruslans’ and modern IL-76TD-90VD freighters to the equally iconic Boeing 747s that proudly display our colours, we are now a worldwide business. What we have achieved is beyond even our greatest expectations 25 years ago.

Nonetheless, aircraft are not our greatest asset. It is the 3,300 people working within Volga-Dnepr Group that have brought us to a 25th anniversary that we can enjoy with such pride. I cannot speak highly enough of the flight, technical, logistics and operational skills our team of professionals use to benefit our customers every single day. Whatever the outstanding capabilities of our aircraft, we never forget that we are a people business in a people industry. We never stop learning and will always be ready to share our expertise and knowledge.

And, of course, none of what we have achieved would have been possible without the wonderful support of our customers. 25 years ago, many of you believed in us at a time when we were a new company, bringing a new type of aircraft into the global commercial market. I am proud to say those early day customers are still with us today and I also applaud their own successes over this time.

We have been able to grow and invest in the continued development of our Group business because of the trust and loyalty of our customers. We are proud to serve you and look forward to doing so for many years to come.

My sincere thanks to you all and very best wishes,

ALEXEY ISAIKIN President & CEO Volga-Dnepr Group
