AIRBRIDGECARGO TAKES EXPRESS CARGO INTO ORBIT FOR ASTRONAUTS IN THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE LAB


AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has taken cargo delivery to a new level, carrying shipments for the International Space Station from Chicago to Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport on behalf of NASA.


The cargo arrived in Moscow in the bulk hold of ABC’s Boeing 747 freighter fl ight RU404 at the start of its journey into space.


“We are committed to always providing the best possible services for all cargo shipments, including transporting cargoes which require temperature control, freight that


needs special loading/offl oading procedures or so-called bulk shipments which are usually last-minute deliveries for customers. We are happy we could help the astronauts in the international space station, who are on the


threshold of a new scientifi c breakthrough,” said Robert van de Weg, ABC’s Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
