Hazeldean Mall. It runs from May to mid-September. Some Tuesday nights it attracts between 1,000 and 2,000 people, and between 250 and 300 classic cars. Over the past 16 years, the Cruise

Nights have raised more than $80,000 for CHEO. In 2011, Kanata Cruise Night was inducted by the hospital into The Order of the Good Bear. Roger has a couple of beautiful

classics himself, and many a Tuesday night you can see the ‘49 Ford, his special ‘53 Chevy Truck and his ‘65 Malibu. I’m sure I speak for many when I

say: “Thanks for all your time and effort in making Kanata Cruise Night one of the best car shows anywhere.” I spend as many summer nights at

Kanata Cruise Nights as possible. I’m always looking for cars that aren’t too common and are in fantastic condition. Not long ago I saw a car that I

dreamt about owning when I was a teenager. This amazing 1954 Mercury is

owned by Bruce and Linda Compton. It’s a California car. Bruce saw it in a collector’s garage in Syracuse, NY about 10 years ago. There have been many upgrades to the car and it’s now a pleasure to drive – getting 25 MPG. Pittsburgh loves us, too. Dave

“50,000” Watts, local Ottawa radio legend, often heads to Sharon, Pennsylvania (just north of Pittsburg) to see his old buddy, Bill Cowan, who restores classic cars. Of course, Dave brought him copy of Bounder magazine. He just loved it and he posed with the magazine in front of his 1951 Chevy Tin Woody. As the fall days get shorter and

storage is inevitable, I have to say good bye for another season. But I look forward to the next year of Bounder Magazine.
