THIS LOVELY FAMILY-RUN PUB AND RESTAURANT RESIDES ON CAERLEON ROAD IN THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY VILLAGE OF PONTHIR.

he wonderful Seren Restaurant has recently had a complete makeover, and now boasts a comfortable bar and lounge area for pre and post-meal drinks,
plus an extensive dining area that can seat up to 80 people. It’s great for larger parties especially weddings, special occasions, and birthdays. The varied menus cater for all tastes and are updated
regularly to refl ect the fresh locally- sourced seasonal produce that is available to the kitchen. Head Chef Eugene Glasgow, and his team of expert
chefs, freshly prepare and make all meals to order, meaning that if there are any special dietary requirements they can be catered for. Example dishes on the lunch time menu include classics
such as Wiltshire ham (served with homemade pineapple chutney and cress salad) seafood risotto and homemade beef lasagne. The evening menu offers a wide variety of starters
and mains including the popular crispy homemade beer battered cod fi llet, roast belly pork, and char grilled lamb noisettes.

available, options from the grill and traditional pub grub favourites. Lunch is served from noon until 3pm and evening
service is available from 5.30pm until 9pm. Sunday lunch is served from noon until 3pm and the
evening menu is available on Sunday, from 5.30pm until 9pm. Throughout the week senior citizens can save every
lunch time and enjoy two courses for £8.50 from noon until 2pm. The Seren also serves a great Early Bird menu from
5.30pm to 7pm, from Monday to Friday, with two courses priced at just £10.50.
