THE INN AT PENALLT

NESTLED AWAY AND OFFERING SPECTACULAR VIEWS OF THE FOREST OF DEAN, THE INN AT PENALLT IS A JEWEL IN THE CROWN OF MONMOUTHSHIRE’S DINING REPERTOIRE.

R

ecommended in both The Michelin Guide to Eating Out and Hardens Restaurant Guide 2014, this AA rosette awarded inn and restaurant is something

very special, offering diners an incredible experience in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Dining in either the bar or the dining room offers the

same experience. Menus change seasonally and offer a bounty of the locality’s best produce, including produce from Kate Humble’s Humble By Nature and Penallt-bred hogget. Having recently under gone a kitchen refurbishment

The Inn now offers even more of its own produce, including in house smoked salmon, duck & bacon, hand- made truffl es and much, much more. Open from Tuesday through to Sunday every week,

the a la carte menu is a real delight, offering a great selection for diners and a choice of mouth-watering desserts all made by the chefs in the kitchen. From Wednesday to Saturday The Inn offers a two and three

course set lunch along side the a la carte menu. Also offering a great children’s menu, The Inn at Penallt has a real family-feel to it, especially on Sundays when the restaurant serves up Sunday lunch. Hugely popular are the Inn’s Gourmet Evenings, which

offer diners the chance to sample upcoming dishes and even more of the locality’s produce. These are advertised on the Inn’s website, so be sure to keep an eye out. With more than 60 wines available, real ale on tap

and a warm welcome a certainty, why not head to this wonderful eatery and try the very best of Monmouthshire?
