A DECADE OF GROWTH

AirBridgeCargo Airlines began life as an idea that turned into an ambitious project for Volga-Dnepr Group and, in the decade since its first flight left Moscow for Beijing, has grown to become Russia’s largest scheduled cargo airline, a multiple award winner and a respected partner for customers across the globe.

The word ‘airbridge’ was always central to the philosophy behind the Group’s plans. The new airline would use Russia’s central and prime geographic location to connect the world’s premier air cargo markets in Europe, North America and Asia. In 2004, the dream became a reality.

AirBridgeCargo Airlines had a humble beginning with a single Boeing 747- 200 freighter and a network of just five routes. Its leaders spoke of the Group’s ambitious plans for ABC’s development and the world waited to see it these words would turn into action. They did.

Fleet and routes alone, of course, are not sufficient to build a world class airline. ABC has worked hard to consistently improve the quality and reliability of its operations and created an international
