12 With over 18 percent

of employees testing positive for drugs, the cost savings of having a drug and alcohol- testing policy in place could be substantial. Te value of having a drug-testing program is evident.

It Makes Sense To Outsource With all of the ways that employees can

find to fight employers on the validity of testing, it makes sense for employers to outsource their employee drug testing programs to professionals. Outside drug testing companies offer employers one- step removal from the testing process that may help to protect them in a court of law. Outside testing companies are professionals that are not an employee’s direct supervi- sor so the employer/employee relationship remains intact. Most importantly, outside companies have the potential to make employers drug testing programs accurate, affordable and quick. ❚
