Circuit Clerks hold continuing ed meeting, appreciate members of 89th General Assembly


Members of the Arkansas Circuit Clerks Association gathered at the


AAC in February for their winter continuing education seminar. How- ever, with a general session underway lobbying and communicating with legislators rose to the top of the agenda. Te clerks began their seminar with a legislative appreciation lun- cheon as they welcomed legislators to come share a meal. Tey also visit- ed the Capitol before adjourning. Becky Comet, AAC member benefits manager, presented “How to Attain Your Goals.” Te association also previewed its legislative package during the seminar.


Representative Scott Baltz (District 61) spends some time with the circuit clerks during their luncheon. Janie, his wife of 32 years, also came by for fellowship at the AAC building.

Representative Charlotte Vining Douglas (District 75) attended the Arkansas County Circuit Clerks appreciation luncheon. Her daugh- ter and grandchildren were also present that day. They were at the Capitol to support a piece of home schooler legislation. Pictured are Molly Dunaway, Douglas’ daughter, and Aj, Jared, Anna, Cooper, Ruthy and Billy.
