Members of the Arkansas Circuit Clerks Association, visit the gallery of the Arkansas House of Represen- tatives in mid-February. Clerks conducted a two- day continuing education conference that included visiting the Capitol and lobbying legislators on circuit clerk legislation.
County Clerks hold seminar, hear updates from state agencies
Te Arkansas County Clerks Asso- ciation held its winter continuing educa- tion conference at the AAC in February. Legislative audit, and the Secretary of State’s office updated clerks on their re- spective offices. Secretary of State Mark Martin addressed the clerks while other Secretary of State representatives pre- sented election information. County clerks also worked the Capitol hallways on numerous election bills. “Te Arkansas County Clerks Associa- tion enjoyed great attendance for this con- ference,” said Rhonda Cole, president of the county clerks association. “We had a good mix of lobbying efforts and educa- tional seminars.”
