Creating a new leadership paradigm for women executives

A new leadership programme for women 'Women Transforming Leadership' has been developed at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, to enable women to unleash their talents as natural leaders. As programme director Gayle Peterson explains,: “The programme title says it all. The world is becoming more complex and women have the talent to successfully address these 'wickedly' difficult challenges and create a new global leadership paradigm. Women Transforming Leadership is asset-based, building on the skills and attributes in which women are known to excel – creating a compelling vision for their organizations, building effective, collaborative cross-disciplinary teams, and valuing honesty and candour to find and scale innovations.”

Women Transforming Leadership will take participants through a transformational learning journey on individual, organizational, and societal levels. The programme uses live cases, draws on psychometric profiling, and offers coaching, and peer tutoring as well as networking. It is built around a variety of different types of learning experience.

The programme is global and cross-disciplinary, and will generate powerful networks among private, public, civil society, and philanthropic sectors. Current course registrants come from the UK, Nigeria, and Tanzania. It runs from September 29 - October 4.
