Oxford University Press Southern Africa is established
Oxford University Press forged its way into publishing on African soil in the early 20th century, establishing a branch in Cape Town in 1915. Our headquarters have been based here ever since, moving from Buitensingel Street to Harrington Street in Central Cape Town, and finally to our Goodwood premises in the Northern Suburbs.
Oxford University Press Southern Africa has since grown into one of the leading educational publishers in South Africa. All of our employees – whether a warehouse picker, sales consultant, editor, finance manager or front-desk receptionist – are passionate about education. We continuously strive to develop quality educational materials and support based on the demands of learners, students, teachers and lecturers in Southern Africa.
