Dear Teacher,

Te idea to tell the Oxford story came about when we realised that not many teachers know where we come from, and why we do what we do. At Oxford, we are really passionate about education. We believe that a good education is the key to the social transformation that we need in South Africa. We know that it is the one thing that can really change the fortune of many in our beautiful country, unlocking opportunities to allow our youth – our future – to make real successes of their lives. Our hope is that by reading our story, you will see that: • We care about learning, which is why we make every effort to ensure that our products are researched, developed and written with your classroom needs in mind.

• We care about teachers, which is why we listen when you speak to us about our product and about your classroom needs.

• We care about education, which is why we make every effort to give teachers oppor- tunities to learn more about our product and to develop their curriculum knowledge. We are immensely proud to be able to contribute to the educational community

through the provision of our diverse range of learning and teaching materials – made for South Africans, by South Africans. We hope that you find our story as inspirational as the work you do each day.
