Having printed our very first book in 1478, Oxford University Press is the world’s oldest and largest university press. We publish more than 6 300 new publications a year, we have offices in around fiſty countries, and we employ more than 5 500 people worldwide.

1884... Te very first edition of the Oxford English Dictionary is published
