Trilogy Broad- cast has appointed Mark Ellis to head up its broadcast division, taking
over from Barry Spencer, who retires at the end of September. Ellis has been with the pro- vider of broadcast infrastructure and intercom technology for six years, with responsibility for the company’s other markets. “Under Barry’s stewardship,

MARTIN CAYZER ARRI Arri has appointed Martin Cayzer to the newly created role of chief executive
of its camera and lighting rental division. Cayzer joins from Pana- vision Asia Pacific, where he was managing director for 13 years. He will look after Arri’s world- wide rental business. Arri said that under Cayzer’s
stewardship, the firm plans to “extend global reach, grow the customer base and enhance market leadership”. He added: “Arri has been at the forefront of
camera, digital intermediate and lighting technology for 95 years, and with the successful intro- duction of the Alexa camera range and LED lighting systems, continues to be a leader in an industry in transition.”
MARK CHRISTIE KIT DIGITAL Kit Digital has appointed Mark Christie as chief tech- nology officer. Christie, who
replaces Chris Williams, co- founded IP video solutions pro- vider Ioko, which Kit Digital acquired in 2011. Kit Digital said Christie’s appointment was in line with its “sharpened focus on software solutions for tier-one clients”. As well as leading Ioko’s man-
agement team and overseeing its client accounts, business devel- opment and operational support organisation, Christie built the managed service business to support tier-one customers including ITV, Channel 4, the BBC and AT&T.

Pictures. Holmgren, who quit Molinare in March, is to take on the role of managing director at the West London post firm. Current managing director
Paul Austin, who joined Clear Cut in April last year, will remain with the post firm until early September, when he will join MediaCityUK (see page 50). Clear Cut chief executive
Horacio Queiro said Holmgren would bring “a wealth of techni- cal and operational knowledge to the role”. He added: “The future of post-production will belong to the most sophisticated and effi- cient facilities, and Scott’s techni- cal expertise will be a real asset to us. If there is a bug in any of the products we use, Scott can write code to fix it.”
