Everything is included in the DIY package. It has a 10 year guarantee on the timber structure, 10 year guarantee on the liner reducing by 10% each year and two year guarantee for the filtration unit, control panel and pump. The timbers used to construct the Desjoyaux above-ground pool are autoclave treated, a technique where vacuum and pressure are applied alternately to ensure the protective products penetrate deep into the wood. Many of these pools are chosen because they can be fully or partly buried in the ground because of the quality of the timbers selected and the process used to protect them.
The pool comes with an inner stainless steel ladder with non slip steps and external timber access steps and with a retail price tag of £3,999 +VAT their popularity comes as no big surprise.
DOUGHBOY RETAINS THE ‘ORIGINAL’ LABEL Doughboy has been manufacturing above-ground pools since 1945 and has achieved a reputation for value for money and more importantly

The pool walls are made from heavy copper bearing steel for a stronger pool wall. The zinc clad hot-dipped galvanised steel wall receives numerous protective coatings, along with a special epoxy coating on the inside of the pool wall providing the best defence against corrosion and condensation. Exclusive! Slide-Bar wall connector continuously joins the pool walls together for complete structural integrity. All steel verticals and top rails are coated with a seven-step coating process on both sides to ensure maximum corrosion resistance and superior durability. In addition Doughboy skimmers have a large skimming surface area that removes surface debris much faster and allows for more pool water height fluctuation – reducing the need to add water frequently! An extensive range of sizes and the ability to be able to submerge fully down to a depth of (expandable) 7ft make Doughboy Pools as popular as they have been for over 60 years.
