round splasher type pools to huge 30ft x 15ft and beyond.

Plastica have earned themselves a reputation for providing not only a wide range of above- ground pools but also for the quality involved and the value for money.

Plastica say above-ground pools have certainly progressed in terms of flexibility, value for money and popularity. They produce some of the top value above-ground pools on the market and can transform any garden in a few days. Above-ground pools are probably gaining in popularity over that of in-ground installations for these reasons. Price is also another strong consideration for families entering the market for the first time.

ENDLESS SUMMER RANGE ‘ECONOMICAL’ WITH SPACE Certikin Endless Summer wooden above-ground pools are available in three standard sizes, 4.2 metres x 4.2 metres, 4.7 metres by 2.9 metres and a larger 6 metres x 4.2 metres and can be

made-to-measure up to 12 metres by 8 metres. All the models below 6 metres by 4 metres are free standing and require no ground supports which makes them much quicker to install. All have a steel support beam around the top of the pool underneath the yellow pine top rail. Manager of Certikin’s Endless Summer division, John Whiteside, says: “The fact that the pool has no side buttresses or braces, makes it much more attractive than other products of its kind and it takes up a lot less space. There are no ugly, concreted-in, steel supports which some pools require, making them far easier to install. All in all, the pools look good in any garden, big or small and have a very solid, robust construction.” The pool’s high specification includes the pool walls, steps, Certikin flow fittings, filtration, maintenance kit, cover and liner (30 thou mosaic and marbled at no extra cost). The top rail is made of a single piece of wood and the smoothly finished wooden ladder can easily be detached when not in use.

A 316 stainless steel entry ladder comes with double top treads and an added structural support bar to reduce the liner wear. The hardwood exit ladder is constructed from pine pre-treated for protection.

The Endless Summer Dolphin Sport incorporates a powerful Fastlane counter current unit starting at £7,145 (plus VAT and carriage) for the 4.7 metres by 2.9 metres option, representing a saving of £2,715 + VAT if the two products were bought separately. This option is also available on the 6 metres by 4.2 metres model.

All models now come with the option of a Walu safety cover – called the Woodstar.

TECHNOLOGY BOOSTS DESJOYAUX’S POPULARITY
