More offering Moralt With popularity soaring, James Latham’s extensive range of Moralt door blanks are now available nationwide from every one of its nine UK panel sites. Engineered specifically to comply with ever tightening building regulations, Moralt Klima thermally insulating door blanks boast a U-value of 0.89, which has won praise from the industry for helping the ideal house retain more heat than it loses. This has seen orders for the impressive door blank range grow significantly among joinery manufacturers,

architects and developers as they opt for Moralt Klima in the construction of highly insulated, self-heating houses which are required to meet exacting and stringent construction specifications. In addition, following a highly successful period of fire and acoustic testing, Moralt Firesound door blanks are proving just as popular in the market as they offer fire protection and feature excellent sound insulation. Also, the Firesound 41 achieves a sound reduction performance of 41dB. Lathams product champion for doors, Steve Frommont, said: “We now have a really comprehensive range

of door blanks to suit every requirement. Moralt offers significant benefits to two very different markets. In public buildings where acoustics are a priority, as the name suggests, Moralt Firesound offers the perfect balance between sound and safety, whereas for those searching for exceptional insulation and who may have been set demanding energy saving targets, Moralt Klima can help to create the self-heating house of the future.” For more information call 0116 257 3415, email marketing@lathams.co.uk or visit www.lathamtimber.co.uk.

Coastline shower enclosures break all forecasts

The new Coastline Collection of shower enclosures from Lakes Bathrooms has broken all forecasts. Coastline is the new 8mm collection, headed by the Walk-in Range and it has doubled original targets expected by Lakes Bathrooms. “We were optimistic that the Coastline Collection would sit well in the

upper mid market in terms of high quality style and finish, but at an unusually affordable price,” said sales and marketing director at Lakes Bathrooms, Clive Organ. “But we have been completely overwhelmed by the demand for this new 8mm collection.” According to Lakes Bathrooms, the most popular product so far in the new collection has been the single 1200mm screen ‘Cannes’. This, the company says, is an ideal product to replace a bath’s footprint and, when coupled with a 1600 x 800 tray, gives the maximum splash protection, whilst keeping the open, wet room feel. Simon Mallion of The Affordable Bathroom Company in Chatham commented, “This is a brilliant range of enclosures for customers that want luxury but don’t want to pay silly prices. They are technically superior and offer exceptional value for money with fantastic versatility. There is no doubt that the Coastline Collection is a real winner.” In common with its sister, the Classic Collection, Coastline is treated with AllClear®

stay clean coating as standard on

both sides of the glass. This has proven exceptionally popular, says Clive. “The Coastline Collection is minimalist in design, so the 8mm toughened glass creates the sense of style and leads the look. Keeping that glass looking good for longer is all important and AllClear®

repels water,

limescale and other deposits that could detract from that clarity, making sure that

the clean, contemporary Coastline appearance is always clear.” The Walk-in Range launched the Coastline Collection and now includes seven frameless shower enclosures, named Cannes, Riviera, Nice, Palma, Andora, Rhodes and Marseilles. For more information call 01684 853870, email info@lakesbathrooms.co.uk or visit www.lakesbathrooms.co.uk.
