TIMBER THEMED


For 2011 the Mosaic Company are launching a new porcelain tile series appropriately named Forest, which mimics natural timber both in size (782 x 152 mm) and in six corresponding wood colours such as maple, oak, cherry and walnut. There is a

choice of grooved or natural wood grain finish both with R10/C anti-slip surface, long edge bullnose pool edging, skirting’s and a grating formed from cut pieces of tile for use in deck level pools. As an alternative to the ubiquitous plastic grating the company also offer a natural IPE hardwood grating 245 x 40mm either 22 or 38mm thick complete with terminal pieces for internal angles. Joined together by brass pins, this also allows for a 750mm radius to be created for use in free form pools. The product has FSC certification which guarantees it was obtained through environmentally friendly means and has a long life span, requiring minimal maintenance apart from perhaps the occasional resealing and according to ambient conditions will age naturally and beautifully with time.

NATURAL FINISH GIVES A STUNNING EFFECT New for 2011 from Certikin is a range of Natural Finish effect ’30 thou linings’ which give pools a stunning and unique look.


The Elgin range offers a true marble stone effect with either a subtle blue or grey vein on a white background, offering the overall effect of a natural stone pool. Either can be manufactured as an all-over patterned liner or as a pattern with a choice of tile band.


Pearl vinyl offers a realistic mother of pearl effect finish. Available in grey or white, the pearlescent finish to this vinyl catches both natural and synthetic light and creates a glittering effect around the pool. The use of coloured lights within the pool takes on a new dimension as the Pearl vinyl catches and reflects the light to stunning effect. Also new and exclusive for 2011 is the quality vinyl liner called Tower Infinity.
