COMPANY FOCUS

Seajacks

Seajacks was formed in 2006 with the aim of constructing and operating the most advanced self-propelled harsh environment liftboats in the world. Seajacks now turns over about £70m running two vessels which are used to install wind turbines and provide oil and gas services. A larger third vessel is being constructed in Dubai and is due for delivery in the North Sea in the summer of 2012.

OFFSHOREWIND FARM CONSTRUCTION

Currently, the company owns and operates out of Great Yarmouth in the UK, with the 'Seajacks Leviathan' and 'Seajacks Kraken' which are constructing wind turbines in tandem at theWalney 2 OffshoreWind Farm.

They continue to build an impressive track record through efficient and effective installation of offshore wind turbines. Together the vessels have now installed 118 Siemens 3.6MWwind turbines and will have installed over 150 whenWalney 2 is completed in Q3 2011.

VESSELS

Both Seajacks vessels were constructed by Lamprell Energy in Dubai and were delivered on time and on budget. These vessels are the robust Gusto MSC NG2500X design, and have been built specifically to perform in the harsh environment of the North Sea.

In May 2011, Seajacks entered into a contract with Lamprell Energy to build the ‘Seajacks Zaratan’ and will take delivery of this purpose built wind farm installation vessel in May 2012. The vessel will be a modified version of the MSC NG5500 design specifically to service the wind farm installation market in the harsh operating environment of the North Sea, as well as to provide services to the oil and gas industry.
