EVENTS The changes continue!
As our strap line indicates we are now a tried, tested and trusted communication hub for the wind energy industry and we are being approached on a regular basis for our opinion and advice.
As you will have seen in our editor’s article on page 4 we have made our feelings known and covered some ‘thorny issues’ because our editor believes it will assist the industry as a whole, through discussion and the need to make informed decisions on progress.
Here we would like to further advise on the events which we believe are the most relevant advantageous to attend.
We have decided to feature those events which we feel give the most value to the industry. In our editor’s article in Issue 2, pages 4/5 (Conferences, Exhibitions and Events, are they worth attending?) the advice given was to choose events organised by industry organisations and associations and industry specific education bodies, because they have the best interests of the industry at heart – that opinion has not changed.
The wind energy industry is so new that events and training courses pop up at a moment’s notice – not great for planning or available finances.
The events featured below follow that principal. The events section online will give you a broader selection over a longer timescale and is updated on a daily basis – please contact us if you would like your event to be considered at, no cost.
FUTURE FEATURES
We have decided to feature specific areas, starting in the UK, which have become centres of excellence in the wind energy industry throughout Europe.
We will be contacting relevant companies and organisation who have had the most influence on that issue in the near future, so that they can become involved.
