Novation’s Lamont Robinson Honored With the 2010 Corris Boyd Leadership and Diversity Award from Federation of American Hospitals

ovation, the leading healthcare sup- ply contracting company, announced that Lamont Robinson, senior direc-


tor of Supplier Diversity received the Cor- ris Boyd Leadership and Diversity Award at the Federation of American Hospitals’ annual Board of Governors meeting this week in Washington, D.C. The award re- cognizes an individual or company that has made an outstanding contribution in fostering leadership and workplace diver- sity in the health care industry. Through Robinson’s leadership, Nova-


tion, added an additional 25 agreements with diverse suppliers for a total of ne- arly 100 diverse suppliers on contract in 2010. The members of VHA Inc., Uni- versity HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista, LLC are projected to spend more than $340 million in 2010 with di- verse suppliers, a 6 percent increase over 2009.

Additionally in 2010, Novation’s Sup-
